GROW Meat Free Cafe

Following a conversation in May 2019, Haleh Moravej and Dean Brookes have led on a pioneering collaboration between sustainability and wellbeing champions MetMUnch, the Manchester Metropolitan University’s Catering Team and some amazing students, which puts health and wellbeing at the forefront.

GROW features a meat free café serving delicious, healthy, locally sourced, student-led vegan and vegetarian food. The café is staffed with students, and has a packed programme of activities promoting healthy and sustainable habits.

At GROW, we pride ourselves in making it our mission to improve customers mental and physical wellbeing through sustainable nutrition, education, creativity and exercise.

We are regularly home to workshops that allow people to create art, learn new skills, keep fit, as well as socialise in an inclusive environment. These sessions are a great chance to take time out of your day to relax and do something fun!

It’s a space to eat, an environment to learn, a platform to create…this is a place to GROW.
